The security of the data of internet users is very important to us. That is why we always follow the applicable legal provisions concerning privacy policy and data security. In the following, we explain which information is collected if necessary and how we handle it.

Field of application of this privacy policy

This privacy policy is valid for all data that is recorded and used on the websites of Passolution GmbH (hereafter: Passolution). Through using our websites, you accept the record and use of your data and information according to this privacy policy as well as the terms of use of our websites.

General remarks

We do not record any personal data (e.g. name, address, phone numbers or e-mail addresses) on our websites, unless you have provided us with this data on a voluntary basis (e.g. through registration or a survey) or you have accepted the recording of such, or the respective privacy policy provisions allow it.

Collection of usage data

When you visit our website, our web server saves the IP-address, the domain from which the visit takes place, date and time of the visit, the websites you are visiting as well as technical information of the visit (http-method, http-version, http-status code, used browser) as standard. If you are signing in as a user on our website, additionally the necessary user-ID is saved.

Collection and processing of personal data

In some of our web-applications, we create a unique Passolution web profile of you to save your personal settings, e.g. for simulation configurations, the basket of goods, favourites etc. This data can be used for statistical purposes as well as market analysis.

The access to some of our websites requires a prior registration. Personal data is only collected if you provide it yourself, e.g. in line with a registration, a survey, a competition or the carrying out of a contract. After registration you can use the registered online-services. In addition to the registration, Passolution may also ask you for special interests or preferences to provide you with tailor-made information and offer you an optimum web usage.


There is the possibility that your data is transmitted within the Passolution network to the sales department, as well as to third parties as long as this serves your commercial interest, e.g. if we send products to you, we transmit personal data to suppliers, sales or third parties who work together with us.

The transmission to state facilities and authorities occurs only in line with binding national legal provisions.

Our employees are bound to secrecy and to the security of transmitted personal data.


Passolution records user data to make communication with them more personal and more interactive. With your data you make it possible for Passolution to render our customer service more efficient and to constantly improve our internet appearance. If you provide us with your personal data, we mainly use it to react to one of your enquiries, to process your orders, to transmit specifically agreed upon information or offers and to foster our customer relations. Moreover, we use your data and share them within the company in order to understand your and your company’s needs and to improve our products and services. We (or third parties working for us) can also use personal data to get in contact with you concerning an offer or a survey or to transmit personal information to our examined network of sales partners if it is to the use of a transaction made with you (e.g. if we have to send you products). Ultimately, Passolution has to disclose personal data if legal regulations require it. In all other cases we will not transmit any of your data to third parties without your explicit consent.

Profile Centre

The access to some of Passolution’s websites requires a prior registration. At this registration you provide us with personal data on a voluntary basis. After registration you can use the entire online-services of Passolution. In addition to the registration, we may ask you for special interests or preferences to provide you with tailor-made information and to improve your use of our websites. You can refuse the record and use of this data for the future and cancel any communication with Passolution that you have subscribed to. Every e-mail from us contains a link to your “profile centre”, where you can see, change and delete the data you have provided us with, as well as subscribe or unsubscribe to information.

Right to revoke

As far as you have provided us with the acceptance to use your data for receiving company and product information (e.g. via e-mail) in our applications, you can always revoke your acceptance with effect for the future.


We have taken extensive technical and operational safety measures to secure your data from accidental or intended manipulation, loss, destruction or the access by unauthorised persons. Our safety measures are checked regularly and are adapted to technological advances.

Passolution uses Cookies, Web-Beacons and the personal data that you have provided us with to personalise the online appearance for you and to improve our services. For example, we use Cookies to remember country and language preferences that you have chosen on our website. A Cookie are text files that are placed on your computer and that make an analysis of your usage of the website possible. Cookies are sent from the Passolution web server to help your browser to identify them and make it possible for Passolution to offer you customer specific and personalised services.
